Don't Nod staff to strike

Workers from French developer Don't Nod are striking this week.

The STJV union has announced that staff from the Parisian studio will be forming a picket line on Friday, November 8th from 2pm, GI.biz reports. This follows 69 Don't Nod workers being at risk of being made redundant as part of a restructuring plan at the company.

Staff are demanding that the studio drops this redundancy plan, gives workers representation in how decisions are made at the company and that Don't Nod boss Oskar Guilbert be present fort any negotiations.

"As workers at this company, we know that these failures are due to a succession of negligent acts and bad decisions from leadership," a letter to the company from staff read, as translated by GI.biz.

"We have warned leadership about these failures for years, but are not being listened to. Ultimately, we're the ones paying the price of these absurd decisions today, with the redundancy plan."
