Industry vet David Miller joins Coatsink

Industry vet David Miller has joined Coatsink.

He has joined as head of business development for the indie specialist following a five-year stint at War Child UK as head of gaming partnership. Prior to that, he worked at the likes of Bandai Namco, Bossa Studios, ITV and The Imaginarium Studios.

During his time at War Child UK, Miller helped raise huge sums of money to help affect youth in warzones such as Ukraine, Gaza and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

"[Joining Coatsink is] a brilliant opportunity to get back into a creative studio, known for making joyful games. I am most looking forward to collaborating with the awesome team here and taking the Coatsink magic out to some new parts of our amazing industry.”

Coatsink was set up back in 2009. The company was acquired by Thunderful Group back in 2020 in a deal worth $29.9 million, excluding performance payouts.
