Mobile firm Brightika to invest $3m in PC and console titles

Mobile specialist Brightika is looking to invest $3 million in PC and console games.

The firm is planning to splash this cash across the next two years. This money will be put towards funding indie titles, as well as supporting them with marketing, publisher and other support.

Brightika's suite of mobile titles has been installed close-to 200 million times.

The company hasn't announced any partners in the PC and console space yet but says that it is already in discussions with a number of teams and some of these titles could be shown at Steam Next Fest, which is set to be held between June 9th and 16th.

“We’ve helped mobile studios reach tens of millions of players and generate sustainable revenue,” Brightika founder Alexander Rodichev said.

“The next step for us is to bring that same level of marketing science and publishing discipline to the PC and console space, where developers often lack access to funding and distribution support.
