Bossa co-CEO Clough steps down

The co-CEO of Bossa Studios, Daniel Clough, is leaving the company.

The exec announced his departure on LinkedIn, adding that he would not be the only membership of the leadership team to be saying goodbye. Clough joined Bossa back in 2018 as the studio general manager before being promoted to co-CEO in January 2021.

"After successfully navigating the tough industry climate in 2023 and 2024, we were hit with unexpected challenges late last year," he wrote.

"To ensure Bossa is in the best position for Lost Skies’ release, we had to make some tough but necessary decisions – including significantly downsizing the studio.

"A lot of the leadership team will leave the studio, as will I. The new size of the studio can’t justify the same structure it did when we were working on multiple projects.

"I’ll always look back on my six years at Bossa really fondly. I’m incredibly proud of how we evolved the studio and what we achieved. And strangely enough, I believe the biggest achievement is yet to come – the release of Lost Skies. I know the team that remains will do it justice."

This news comes in the wake of Bossa making an undisclosed number of job cuts.
