Epic Games Store hits 295m PC users in 2024

The Epic Games Store now boasts over 295 million users on PC.

In the company's annual Year in Review blog post for 2024, the Fortnite giant reported that this was an increase of 25 million accounts year-on-year. Overall, Epic boasts 898 million cross-platform accounts, an increase of 94 million year-on-year.

PC players spent $1.09 billion on the Epic Games Store, a 15 per cent increase year-on-year. There was, however, an 18 per cent decline in the amount of money spent on third-party titles, which totalled $255 million.

Overall, the Epic Games Store boasted 67 million average monthly active users and 32 million average daily active users.

The highest-performing titles during 2024 – by player spend and engagement – were Genshin Impact, Rocket League, Honkai Star Rail, Grand Theft Auto 5 and Fortnite Battle Royale. There's no order to that list, but the next five highest-performing titles were EA Sports FC 24, Destiny 2: The Final Shape, Alan Wake 2, Fall Guys and Wuthering Waves.
