Valve rolls out Steam Families feature

PC giant Valve has introduced Steam Families.

It introduces a variety of features, including allowing parents or guardians to put spending and time limits on accounts for children, as well as requiring approval from an adult to allow access to appropriate games. Furthermore, parents can recover a children's account if they lose access to it.

It also lets users to share some title with other players in their family; whether or not a game is shareable is up to developers.

At the moment, Steam Families are limited to six people, though Valve has said it will be keeping an eye on how this feature is used.
