Capcom vets Hideaki Utsumi and Saori Utsumi found new studio

Former Capcom developers Hideaki Utsumi and Saori Utsumi have set up their own outfit named Birdkin Studio.

The husband and wife duo are working alone and announced their new venture on Twitter. On the studio's website website, Birdkin says that it is creating a project for both Steam and Nintendo Switch.

Both Hideaki and Saori Utsumi have a wealth of skills at their fingertips, but their main specialism is in sound design. They have worked on the likes of Resident Evil, Devil May Cry and Mega Man.

Hideaki is serving as Birdkin's CEO, while Saori does not appear to have an official job title available publicly.

"We have formed a new game development studio," the duo wrote on Twitter.

"This game development studio is a small studio, just Hideaki Utsumi and Saori Utsumi."
