3D capture firm Clear Angle establishes new studio in LA

3D capture and process outfit Clear Angle Studios has set up a brand new studio in Culver City, LA.

This new office is already working on three games projects as well as five "major" film productions. Clear Angle was set up in 2013 and is headquartered at the UK's Pinewood Studios. It has since set up studios in Atlanta and Vancouver; the company has plans to open offices in Asia and Australasia at some point in the future, too.

“This is an exciting step in the growth of Clear Angle Studios," CEO and co-founder Dominic Ridley said.

"We have seen an increase in demand for our services in LA, in particular to make face and full body scanning more convenient for locally based talent, so it made sense for us to open a permanent hub here. We already have some interesting projects underway from the short time we've been in Culver City, and we’re excited for further projects in 2025 and beyond.”
