Armored Core 6 hits three million sales

From Software's Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon has sold over three million copies to date.

The milestone was announced on Twitter by the game's official account, in a post where the company thanked the title's fans. This news comes just eleven months after the game's initial release on August 25th 2023.

There's no indication how many of these sales were on PC.

Back in October, two of Fire of Rubicon's Japanese voice actors revealed during a YouTube stream that the game had shifted 2.8 million copies at that point, meaning that the title has 'only' sold around 200,000 units in the last nine months.

Either way, three million copies is still an impressive feat for a game that spent much of the first three PlayStation generations as a pretty niche and obscure series.

"Thank you to all Ravens, new and old, who have braved the fires and flown on borrowed wings," the studio wrote.
