Lords of the Fallen budget clocks in at around $66m

Poland's CI Games has revealed that Lords of the Fallen is its most expensive project to date.

The company has shared this information with investors, saying that it estimates that development costs clock up to around PLN 178 million ($42.2 million), while marketing costs come in at PLN 81.5 million ($19.3 million). Finally, the cost of manufacturing physical disks will be around PLN 21.5 million ($5.1 million). Those are estimates that CI Games has made for the year ending December 31st.

These figures were originally shared by CFO David Broderick in a conference call with investors earlier this week, as reported by Polish publication Bankier.pl and spotted by Game World Observer. Broderick has said that marketing costs aren't isolated to Lords of the Fallen alone, but rather are related to future development of the brand.

Lords of the Fallen was released on October 13th and within its first ten days on sale shifted over one million copies. Broderick has said that 54 per cent of units sold were on console, likely meaning that 46 per cent were on PC.

The original Lords of the Fallen shifted 900,000 copies in its first seven months.
