V Rising hits 2.5 million sales

Early Access vampire romp V Rising has sold more than 2.5 million copies to date.

That's according to developer Stunlock Studios, who posted the sales milestone on Twitter on August 8th. This means that the title has shifted around 500,000 units since mid-June, at which point the game had sold two million copies.

V Rising launched on May 17th. Within three days of release the title had shifted 500,000 copies, while by the end of its first week the game had sold one million copies. One month in, V Rising had shifted two million units.

In the game's most recent update, developer Stunlock improved the title's localisation for Brazlilian Portuguese, French, German and Simplified Chinese. The studio also added localisation for Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, and Turkish, which no doubt will help V Rising's popularity around the world.
