Amy Hennig working on new Star Wars game

Naughty Dog and EA vet Amy Hennig is once again working on a game set in a galaxy far, far away.

It was revealed yesterday that Skydance New Media – where Hennig works as a president – has landed a Star Wars project in partnership with Lucasfilm Games.

"I've often described how seeing Star Wars in 1977 essentially rewired my 12-year-old brain, shaping my creative life and future indelibly," Hennig said.

"I'm elated to be working with Lucasfilm Games again to tell interactive stories in this galaxy that I love."

Hennig previously worked on Star Wars during her time at EA's Visceral. The firm was developing a project codenamed Ragtag but that was cancelled at the end of 2017 at the same time that Electronic Arts closed that studio

Hennig departed EA the following year and in 2019 was hired by Skydance to set up its games division. Last year she snapped up Star Wars co-writer Stashwick
