Jingle Jam 2021 raised $4.4m for charity

Last year's Jungle Jam charity bundle event from Yogscast raised $4.4 million (£3.3 million) for charity.

The 2021 edition of the bundle brought in $4,435,933, bringing the total that Jingle Jam has raised over the last decade to $24,945,581.

This time around, the deal included £650 worth of video games, requiring that contributors chip in £35 or more. These 56 titles included Hyper Light Drifter, Northguard and Surviving Mars.

Among the charities benefitting from this £3.3 million raised are SpecialEffect, War Child and Cancer Research UK. That's on top of the $690,000 that 50 streamers

"After a difficult year for many it was really nice to end it on an emotional high," Lewis Brindley, co-founder of The Yogscast, said in a statement accompanying today's news. "I'd like to give a heartfelt thanks to everyone who gave their time, passion, expertise and games to make this such a huge success. We can't wait to see how these charitable projects evolve over 2022 and benefit those who are in need."
