US publishing giant Electronic Arts is not a part of the recently-announced remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
Speaking to The Game Awards' Geoff Keighley – as posted on Twitter – the firm said that it wasn't involved with the project, seemingly, we guess? The response is as clear as mud to be honest.
Meanwhile, KOTOR's original developer, BioWare, has been a bit more clear about the project, saying that the studio "cannot wait to play" the remake, which is being built by Aspyr.
"We’re proud of the work we did on the original Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and genuinely cannot wait to play Aspyr’s Remake," the studio wrote. "As we continue our work on Star Wars: The Old Republic, we will watch with great interest. May the Force Be With You."
The KOTOR remake was announced for PlayStation 5 and PC at a Sony State of Play broadcast last week.
I asked Bioware (and EA) if they are involved in the STAR WARS: KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC remake announced yesterday and just received this response.
