FIFA 21 back on top of boxed charts in the UK

FIFA 21 is back on top of the boxed game sales charts in the UK, after falling to fourth place in the race for the 'coveted' Christmas number one position. It replaces Assassin's Creed Valhalla, which falls back down to second place.

The biggest fall in the top ten of the new chart belongs to Cyberpunk 2077, which dips from third last week to eighth this week. Of course, Christmas Day itself is a bit of a blackspot for physical retailers in the UK, what with them all being closed.

Switch games take up four positions in the top ten, with Animal Crossing: New Horizons at 3, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at 4, Super Mario 3D All-Stars at 9 and the Switch version of Minecraft at 10.

Just Dance 2021, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War complete the top ten.

The chart represents boxed game sales for the week ending December 26th, and is compiled by GfK. Here's the top ten in full.

  1. Fifa 21
  2. Assassin's Creed Valhalla
