VIDEO: Perfect Dark, Dragon Age and Mass Effect shown off at The Game Awards 2020

Geoff Keighley's Big Trailer Night... sorry, The Game Awards took place yesterday, with developers and publishers showing off a number of new projects.

The long-rumoured Perfect Dark title that's in development over at Microsoft's The Initiative studio was finally officially revealed, while we also were shown a new look at the upcoming and eagerly-awaited Dragon Age 4 from EA's BioWare.

That studio also teased a new Mass Effect game, with fans speculating that this is a sequel to both the original trilogy of sci-fi RPGs and 2017's Andromeda.

Meanwhile, an upgraded version of indie hit Disco Elysium – Final Cut – is coming out in 2021, with the game now boasting voice over for every line of dialogue. There's also a sequel for Studio Wildcard's Ark: Survival Evolved – imaginatively named Ark 2 – on the way, as revealed in a trailer starring Vin Diesel, of all people!

The voice of Groot wasn't the only Hollywood talent to appear on stage; a video game based on The Evil Dead film franchise was also revealed.

Square Enix and People Can Fly have also revealed what they have been working on together, three-player co-op shooter Outriders. That's coming out on February 2nd for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
