The best-selling series by Activision is coming back with a bang. Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold Waris scheduled for release on the 13th of November, and millions of players are getting ready for a brand-new Black Ops experience. The story will take players back to the 80s; a period during which, military superpowers fought one another without actually declaring war on each other. The game will more or less feature the same gameplay types as its predecessors. There will be a campaign mode, a Black Ops multiplayer mode and a co-op “Zombies” mode. The upcoming CoD title will be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and for PC via Battle.net.
The news about the release of Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War were positively received by the majority of CoD fans, as Modern Warfare delivered less than what the players initially expected. It is no secret that many CoD players left Modern Warfare aside and focused on games such as Destiny 2 or on activities like that of understanding the casino world. Online casino gaming is, after all, a common alternative for those who enjoy spending time playing games online. By releasing Black Ops Cold War, Activision is not only hoping to reactivate a big percentage of the existing CoD audience but also to attract many FPS gamers who have never given Call of Duty a try.
Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War will be inspired by true events that took place during a very dark modern world period. Players will find themselves in numerous battlegrounds all over the world. One mission may take you to Vietnam while another to East Germany. Your character will fight alongside popular characters like Woods, Hudson and Mason and you will carry weapons and equipment inspired by the arsenal used by the military superpowers of that period.
After watching the trailer, many players were mesmerised by that “Rambo-feeling” you get while playing the game. Your job is to find a way to put an end on a project threatening to completely destabilise the planet. The specifics about how the story rolls out are still unclear, but Black Ops title veterans will probably know what to expect. The game will support cross-play both on 8th generation consoles as well as on the next-gen devices, which are scheduled for release right before the Christmas period. The game will also offer a cross-progression feature. This means that your accomplishments on a PS4 or on an Xbox One will be automatically saved on your PS5 or your Xbox Series X.
Just like with every other Call of Duty title, multiplayer and co-op activities will be a big part of the game. Players will find an abundance of multiplayer missions both the for actual game as well as for the “Zombie” environment. The price of the game is pretty reasonable considering the base gameplay value you get by purchasing the game. Both the console as well as the PC version will offer numerous editions of the game. If you want to get extra cosmetics and access to the Battle Pass contents, then you should look for one of the bundled versions.
