Humble launches Fight for Racial Justice bundle

Storefront Humble has rolled out a new bundle to raise money for racial justice causes.

The appropriately-named Fight for Racial Justice bundle features $1,243-worth of games, books and comics. As always, users can pay what they want for Humble's offering, but there's a minimum price of $30.

The bundle is raising money for the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, Race Forward and The Bail Project. At the time of writing, it has raised $1.2m from 36,772 people.

"In the wake of the killing of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and tragically many more in the Black community, we’ve teamed up with developers, publishers, and creators to help support organisations fighting for racial equity," Humble wrote.

"This special one-week bundle features $1,200 USD worth of games, books, and comics for just $30 USD. 100% of the proceeds from your bundle purchase go to support organisations fighting for racial justice. For example, providing legal representation and assistance, protecting and expanding civil rights, and educating the public on racial injustice and slavery."

This follows Humble setting aside $1m each year to fund black game creators with the Black Game Developer Fund. It also comes in the wake of Itch.io raising $8.1m with its own Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality.
