Revenue up 43% at Team17 in 2019

Team17's revenue saw a 43 per cent increase in revenue during 2019.

That's according to the company's financial report for the 12 months ending December 31st, in which it claims it made £61.8m ($76.3m) in revenue for the year. Gross profit was up by 49 per cent, too, with the indie label bringing in £29.5m ($36.4m) for the 2019 fiscal year.

71 per cent of revenue came from the company's now-extensive back catalogue, too.

The company has also appointed a new CFO and board director in Mark Crawford. The firm appointed him as interim CFO in November 2019.

"We are delighted that Mark has agreed to join Team17 on a permanent basis having made such a strong impression throughout his interim period," non-exec chairman Chris Bell said.

"The board unanimously agreed that Mark has both the skills and experience required to support Team17's ongoing growth and strategic ambitions."
