Unity makes its tutorial content free for three months

Engine firm Unity has given everyone free access to its Learn Premium tutorials for three months due to the coronavirus pandemic.

As shown on its website, everyone can get access. All users need is a Unity ID and if they're new then they can create and account.

"To help support you during these times, we're committed to providing all users with three months of complimentary access to Unity Learn Premium," the company said..

"Unity Learn is our new platform for discovering Unity's award-winning learning content. Track your Unity skills progression as you work through guided courses, follow-along projects, and bite-sized tutorials."

Last month, it was revealed that Riot Games was using Unity to develop two of its upcoming titles. This month, Google launched a Stadia self-publishing scheme in partnership with Unity.

In November 2019, Oculus teamed up with the development platform for a free virtual reality development course. That same month, the game engine firm acquired cloud firm Obvioos.

Other companies are also offering content due to the pandemic. Recently, Microsoft moved some educational content to the regular version of Minecraft for the kids that are stuck at home during the Covid-19 outbreak.
