Epic Games' Fortnite walked away with not one but two prizes from The Game Awards 2018.
The title won out in the Best Ongoing Game and Best Multiplayer Game categories, both areas it could well win again in the future.
Meanwhile, Overwatch from Blizzard made off with the Best Esports Game, while Forza Horizon 4 was awarded in the Best Sports or Racing category. On-stage, Xbox marketing chief Aaron Greenburg said that this year's was the best-selling entry in the Horizon sub-series to date.
Indie title Celeste won Best Independent Project and Games for Impact Award, while Dead Cells walked off with the Best Action Game gong.
