Former Remedy boss Myllyrinne opens new Helsinki developer Redhill Games

Ex Remedy CEO Matias Myllrinne is heading up a brand new development house in Finland's capital.

The exec has teamed up with Remedy technical director Mikko Uromo, who will serve as CTO, while Wargaming development director Milos Jerabek comes on board as executive producer.

Meanwhile, Ekaterina Dolgova, formerly HR boss and chief of staff for Wargaming's Global Development branch, joins as COO.

This new venture will be developing PC free-to-play titles - aside from that, there's little information about what Redhill will be making aside from that the monetisation of its projects will be "fair" and development will be data-driven.

“I’ve had the joy of working with so many wonderfully talented people since beginning in games in 1999. Redhill Games represents the best of the best from all my years of experience, bringing together some of the industry’s top professionals from various disciplines for a new adventure,” Myllyrinne said in a press release.

“These are people who have collaborated closely before, and I’m confident our best games are still ahead of us.”
