Sunset Overdrive on PC looks even more likely as the 2014 Xbox game shows up on Steam’s backend

SteamDB now shows that Insomniac’s 2014 Xbox One game Sunset Overdrive exists on Steam’s back-end.

The database listing was discovered by Twitter user Wario64, who frequently posts deals and industry information on the social media platform.

The colourful open-world action game has already been rumoured to be coming to PC. Back in May, a Korean ratings board classified a PC SKU of Sunset Overdrive. That was followed on November 1st by an ESRB rating for the title on Windows PC.

For its part, Insomniac Games has never officially announced a PC port to its Xbox One exclusive. But in the past, the studio has expressed interest in bringing the title to Windows.

Insomniac has likely been preoccupied with its recent Spiderman release on PS4, but there’s always the chance porting duties for Sunset Overdrive have been handed off to a smaller team.

As a first-party Xbox exclusive, it’s also interesting to see Sunset Overdrive appear on Steam. After the Korean rating, we speculated that it would be a part of Xbox Play Anywhere, or through the Xbox Game Pass on the Windows Store.
