Dropleaf games subscription service wants to help indies with discoverability

Another day, another company trying the Netflix-for-games model.

Dropleaf is a subscription service for PC indie projects that lets users play as many games as they like.

The firm already has 44 games on-board, with projects from the likes of TinyBuild on the platform, with more being added ‘constantly’.

The company says its aim is to help indie studios with discoverability, which is something of an issue given just how many games are coming to Steam alone.

Developers make money whenever their game is being played.

The project has been created by Zi Guo, a former Microsoft employee who has worked on tech like Hololens, Azure, SQL, Server and Windows.
