Roblox has promoted Christina Wootton to the role of chief partnerships officer.
She has been given this new position having worked at the games platform for almost a decade. Wootton joined the company back in 2014 as director of sales for the West Coast, rising through the ranks to take the position of VP of global brand partnerships in 2018. Prior to that, she spend three years at Glorious Games Group.
During her time at Roblox, she has been "instrumental" in growing partnerships at the company.
“We’ve seen dozens of top brands and partners building communities and successfully creating on our platform in a variety of groundbreaking formats, and we firmly believe that all brands will eventually have a presence on Roblox," Wootton said.
"Our partnerships work continues to accelerate as we experiment with new technologies like Immersive Ads and grow our partner community and brand education through our new Roblox Partner Program. Ultimately, our team's work is about creating new ecosystems for people to communicate and connect with one another, as well as their favorite brands and talent. These ecosystems represent the future of how we express ourselves through digital fashion and beauty, learn, experience entertainment, music, sports, travel, and more.”
