Maximum CEO Seelye takes over Zordix

The CEO of Maximum Games, Christina Seelye (pictured), has taken over as the chief exec of Zordix.

As announced in a blog post, this follows the company being bought by Maximum back in November 2021 for a deal worth up to $72 million. Alongside this shift, Zordix's CEO Matti Larsson has moved to the new role of director of innovation and new business.

“I am extremely pleased to join Zordix as CEO and look forward to making significant strides,” said Seelye.

“I started Maximum Games in 2009 and it’s been incredible to see the progress that is possible with vision and hard work. Matti Larsson achieved a similar feat and his success in positioning Zordix as a competitor in the AA gaming space is inspiring.”

Larsson added: “I have had a fantastic time at Zordix as founder and CEO and feel proud to have built a global video game group. This shift is a natural next step that serves to secure the execution of our growth. I have decided to take up another role within the group and hand over the baton to Christina, who will take the company to a new level.”
