Video game journalism vet Andy McNamara has moved to US publishing giant Electronic Arts.
In a post on Twitter (below), the former Games Informer editor-in-chief revealed that he had taken a new role as EA's director of communications strategy.
McNamara joined Game Informer back in 1991 as a reviewer and editorial assistant, before rising to editor-in-chief two years later. In total he worked at the publication for almost 29 years. He announced his departure from the brand last week and said that he was "heading to LA for my next video game adventure."
"EA has great things happening, & asked me to come along for the ride," he wrote on Twitter.
"In my role, I’ll get to work with legendary developers all over the world to find new ways to tell their stories & I can’t wait."
