Recently-released action RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is approaching two million sales.
That's according to the CEO of Embracer Group, Lars Wingefors, whose Plaion subsidiary has published the title. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 sold over one million copies in its first 24 hours following its February 4th release.
Wingefors went on to say that the game's early success should be a reminder that it needs to release great games.
“The success of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is a reminder of our core – to bring great products to the market,” he told investors, as transcribed by VGC.
“High-quality teams need to have the resources and the time to execute their visions. When you have the right teams, this trust benefits everyone, including gamers, employees, and shareholders. I am convinced that we will remain among the industry leaders in our core business verticals in the future.”
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 debuted at No.1 on Steam last week.
