2K Games has reportedly let the president of studio 31st Union, Michael Condrey, go. 

That's according to Kotaku, which reports that the development vet had been let go on February 3rd due to a lack of player interest in its upcoming online multiplayer title, Project Ethos. There's no word as to what is going to happen to the game, but 2K has said that it is "very committed" to both the title and 31st Union. 

While Condrey is out as the developer's president, it does appear that he will continue to advise on Project Ethos. 

“We are grateful to Michael Condrey for the dedication, passion and work ethic it took to build an incredible team and shape the vision of 31st Union,” a 2K spokesperson said.

"Michael will be transitioning his role in the short term to focus on advising on the future of Project Ethos. We remain very committed to the forward path for Project Ethos and the people and culture of the 31st Union studio."

Condrey founded 31st Union back in February 2019, having previously co-founded Call of Duty developer Sledgehammer Games.
