CHARTS: Esports tournament boosts PUBG: Battlegrounds back to No.1 on Steam

The PUBG Global series has helped the battle royale smash hit return to the Top Ten on Steam. 

PUBG: Battlegrounds shot up from No.12 to No.1 on Steam on the back of the esports tournament. Valve's own online shooter, Counter-Strike 2, held steady in second place, while Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 dropped from the No.1 spot to third. 

Apex Legends returns to the Top Ten in fourth – up from No.58 – on the back of a new season of content. Amazon and NCSoft's MMO Throne and Liberty dropped one spot to fifth while the Steam Deck holds steady in sixth. 

Baldur's Gate 3 returns to the Top Ten on the back of a 20 per cent price cut – shooting up from No.45 to seventh – while Dota 2 returns to the charts in eighth from No.15. 

Planet Coaster 2 from Frontier Developments debuted in ninth place, while pre-orders for Farming Simulator 25 round off the Steam Top Ten ahead of its November 12th release date.
