Roblox releases analytics tools for developers

Games platform Roblox is rolling out a new range of analytics tools for its developers.

In a post on the company's creator forum, the firm has released dashboards that help track economy events and funnel events.

The former shows how users acquire and spend currency, as well as what the average wallet balance of users is. Meanwhile, the funnel will help developers see where their players fall off during onboarding, the shop and other funnels on the platform.

Roblox has been testing this and has shared feedback on how the beta has been met by creators.

“By monitoring my economy graphs, I realized that there wasn’t enough incentive for users to spend our currency," one developer wrote. "So I added more sinks to balance my economy.”

Another developer commented: “Funnels have been great - I’ve been using them to test new features and streamline our new user onboarding.”
