Recently-released shooter Remnant 2 has already attracted more simultaneous players than its predecessor.
That's according to platform tracker SteamDB – as spotted by Eurogamer – which shows that the title hit a record of 110,856 concurrent users on Sunday, July 30th. At the time of writing, the game has 54,433 simultaneous players.
That 110k figure is more than double the previous entry in the series, which brought in 48,289 concurrent players four years ago.
Last week, ahead of its release, pre-orders for Remnant 2 were the second biggest seller on Steam coming in just second to – what else? – Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
"On just Steam alone, Remnant 2 is so close to having double the amount of concurrent players than Remnant: From the Ashes did at launch," developer GunFire Games wrote on Twitter.
"Whether you’re new to the world of Remnant or a longtime veteran, thank you for jumping into the game."
