PlayStation hiring for PC games director

Sony Interactive Entertainment is on the lookout for someone to oversee its PC games business.

As spotted by PC Gamer, the firm is hiring a senior director of PC planning and strategy who will be in charge of growing PC games sales.

"The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategy and commercial activity within Global Channel sales and will deliver a single, optimized PC Sales growth and commercial plan to hub and territory teams to implement," the job ad reads.

"Identifying future sectors & partnerships for commercial growth. The plan should support the delivery of the agreed global channel sales critical metrics."

This comes in the wake of PlayStation putting more of a focus on PC as a platform. The firm has brought first-party titles such as Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone and God of War to PC, with the latter being Sony's biggest Steam launch to date.

Back in October, the firm created the PlayStation PC publishing label.
