MOBA Network buys Resetera for $4.5m

Popular games forum Resetera.com has a brand new owner in esports community firm MOBA Network.

The message board has been acquired in a deal worth $4.5 million – $3.55 million has been paid out in case, with another $1 million set to be paid by December 31st of this year.

Resetera was founded in 2017 following the the implosion of the NeoGAF forum due to allegations of misconduct against found Malka. The platform boasts 60 million monthly page views and 55,000 members.

"Resetera.com has great growth potential, and we see significant opportunities to develop Resetera.com, continue to grow traffic flows, improve the sales development and extract synergies within the MOBA Group.

"Resetera.com is another step in our strategy to grow through acquisitions and create more relevant communities with attractive, growing target groups that many companies want to expose themselves to."
