Sperasoft is partnering with Eve Online studio CCP on a brand new unannounced project.
There's no word yet on what this new game will entail, but it seems to be led by CCP's London studio. This outfit was opened in 2016 and has been hiring for both an "unannounced online shooter" and an unannounced action MMO.
Right now, that online shooter appears to be the priority, with CCP London current boasting three job openings for this project.
“We’re delighted to be working with Sperasoft on our unannounced online shooter set in the Eve IP,” said CCP London game director Allen Edwards (pictured).
“Together, we’re looking forward to delivering a rock-solid, action-oriented gameplay experience with stunningly beautiful worlds.”
Sperasoft chief commercial officer Denis Larkin added: “We are excited to be a partner of CCP Games and share in their mission to create immersive virtual worlds. Our experienced team of developers is focused on delivering cutting edge solutions for our client and gameplay innovations for their fans.“
Earlier this year, CCP cancelled Eve multiplayer shooter Project Nova. Sperasoft was bought by Keywords almost three years ago to the day.
