Today, Nielsen-owned analytics firm SuperData unveiled a new premier tool that'll let users measure livestreams, videos and content in the gaming space.
The SuperData Arena dashboard promises to provide brands, marketers and publishers with insight across multiple types of gaming video content (GVC).
It'll track and measure metrics to determine the value of video games and the creators covering them. Users can rank influencers and channels by the number of hours watched, peak concurrent viewers and total followers across multiple streaming and video platforms such as YouTube and Twitch.
SuperData Arena will also work alongside the company's Influencer Value Index. The index allows users to track the overall value of a gaming influencer by content retention, engagement and magnitude. Arena will also feature a dashboard that can collate additional information on an influencer's audience - including puruchase intent and demographic.
The big game
“Watching games online has quickly become one of the most popular forms of interactive entertainment with many games video titles and esports events now generating audiences that rival traditional media content,” said SuperData CEO Joost van Dreunen (pictured).
“The new SuperData Arena dashboard offers brands and publishers the ability to have a combined view of
gaming video streaming data metrics with game sales data. It provides a holistic view of how players and fans are consuming and engaging with streaming content across the world’s most popular channels and platforms."
