Little Nightmares has passed one million units sold

Indie horror adventure Little Nightmares has sold over one million copies across all platforms.

Tarsier Studios revealed the milestone sales figure in a press release, reaching one million copies sold both digitally and physically. Little Nightmares launched on PC, Xbox One and PS4 last April, before a Switch port hit this May.

It's not clear how many copies were sold on PC - we've reached out to Tarsier to see if the studio can provide some extra stats.

“We’re very proud that our first original game sold so well, it’s well beyond what we ever expected,” said CEO Andreas Johnsson in a statement. “Little Nightmares is after all part of an indie game landscape, and the fact that one million players have played our game is wonderful.

“This achievement is a milestone for both Tarsier Studios and Little Nightmares. To have created an original game that becomes as successful is proof that the new direction for the studio was the right choice, and that feels great.”
