Ad sales house Venatus expands to Seoul

European advertising firm Venatus has opened a new office in the South Korean capital.

Founded in 2010, Venatus provides ad sales services to studios including Rovio, EA and Spil Games. With offices in London and Paris, the agency has already been active in South Korea for a few years now. This expansion allows it a more permanent position 'at the forefront of global gaming.'

Venatus cite South Korea's stong position on esports as a factor for moving, claiming the nation is 'five steps ahead' of the competition on competitive gaming. The country accounts for 14.9 percent of the global gaming market.

“The decision to expand in Seoul is another milestone for us,” said Venatus CEO Rob Gay. “South Korea has one of the most significant, demanding and knowledgeable bases for core gamers. It is home to some of the most sophisticated game developers across the globe and our new office allows us to directly serve our South Korean market effectively.”

“We are certain our expansion into South Korea will be critical for our relationships with our publishers and will contribute to Venatus’ future global organic growth”.
