It would appear a brand new Overwatch project is in the works.

That’s going on job listings on Blizzard’s website for a new art intern, as spotted by Nirolak on NeoGAF.

Said role will be working on an ‘unannounced project at Blizzard’, with the listing also saying that applicants should have a ‘knowledge and understanding of the Overwatch universe’.

Beyond that it’s hard to tell what this might be; there’s no listing as to the platform this project will be appearing on.

It’s possible that this could just be on brand new expansion content for Overwatch, i.e. new characters and maps, but the fact it is an unannounced project means it is likely something new altogether. If they want to make a title centred around ma main girl DVA, that'd be pretty sweet. 

It’s incredible that Blizzard is working on a new Overwatch at all. The firm seems to spend a huge amount of its time dealing with negative elements of its community.

Game director Jeff Kaplan recently took to the project’s forums to highlight just how draining dealing with this toxicity was.
