Green Man Gaming and Intel team up for new B2B marketplace

Online game retailer Green Man Gaming has partnered with Intel to power the company’s newly-launched Software Distribution Hub (SDH).

This is a new B2B marketplace wherein Intel hardware channel partners and game publishers can create their own offers and bundles for their games. Green Man Gaming’s patented technology has been utilised to achieve and power Intel SDH.

Games publishers will be able to sell games individually and as bundles on the Intel SDH, which ensures that the publishers’ games will go directly to the gamers. For publishers, the SDH is intended to simplify working with Intel-based PC hardware resellers worldwide and to also improve the security of game key distribution.

The Intel SDH will enable the consumer to access publisher-agreed, significantly discounted prices on major PC games titles; as well as to be able to preorder games and earn Green Man Gaming credit whilst doing so, redeemable on any product in the store.

Green Man Gaming CEO and Founder Paul Sulyok says the SDH will help publishers boost sales and access new revenue streams.

“Green Man Gaming and Intel support and enhance the overall experience for gamers, from both a community and industry perspective," he explained.

Intel VP of sales and marketing Ricardo Moreno added: “The Intel Software Distribution Hub offers our Intel Technology Provider Gold and Platinum Partners the unique opportunity to differentiate themselves by providing a wide range of popular game titles, in addition to delivering the excellent performance and exceptional experiences our gaming customers demand."
