UK-based children's charity War Child has launched a new online hub to promote gaming-based fundraising campaigns to help children affected by war.
The GameOn hub features advice on how to help raise money for the charity, either through fundraising or buying associated games. It will also be updated regularly with the latest campaigns.
GameOn also hosts a number of videos from developers encouraging people to help. Tim Schafer, Rhianna Pratchett, Debbie Bestwick, Sam Barlow, and more have all contributed videos.

"What we have achieved to date with the help of the gaming industry is incredible and GameOn is an exciting next step for War Child," said Wayne Emanuel, Gaming Development Manager at War Child.
"Our journey so far has seen collaborations with major players in the industry and with the new gaming hub we hope to encourage more developers, studios, publisher and gamers to join us on our mission striving for a world where no child’s life is torn apart by war."
War Child's most recent major campaign ran in December 2016, raising $122,000 from four participating developers. Mobile titles Democracy 3 and 1979 Revolution: Black Friday donated money raised from their sales during the campaign period.
