Arkane Lyon and Focus Home vets found new studio ZeDrimeTim

Veterans of the French games industry have come together to found a brand new studio called ZeDrimeTim.

The venture has been set up by Romuald Capron, formerly a studio director at Deathloop maker Arkane Lyon, as well as the founder of Focus Home Interactive, Cédric Lagarrigue.

The GM of ZeDrimeTim is Mika Tanguy, whose experience lies within the film industry.

The company is working on a brand new title called Darwin's Paradox, built on Unreal Engine 5, and set for release in 2024.

"After an already quite full career in video games, I wanted to get involved in a project on a human scale," Capron said.

"I was immediately attracted by the art direction and gameplay mechanics of Darwin's Paradox and I'm really excited to help the team at ZeDrimeTim, to turn that vision into a game with a strong identity."

Lagarrigue added: "I have had the good fortune in my career to discover and support studios and their games which, despite their limited budgets, became great hits. Darwin's Paradox has the ingredients that falls into this category. The excellent playable prototype and the positioning of the studio convinced me to invest in the project and accompany the team in this exciting adventure.”
