Ubisoft makes changes to Rainbow Six: Siege's dev team

French publishing firm Ubisoft has announced a number of changes to the roster leading its flagship online shooter Rainbow Six: Siege.

In a video on YouTube (below), it was revealed that creative director Xavier Marquis and brand director Alexandre Remy - in addition to other members of the core team - are moving away from the game to work on other projects at Ubisoft.

Game director Leroy Athanassoff will now be leading development on Siege

"We will start expanding the 'game universes,'" Athanassoff said.

"If you look at player experience, we need to stop thinking about exclusive features and start implementing inclusive features instead. What I mean is that we need to deliver content that will impact every player and the whole community."

Senior community developer Craig Robinson added: "Leroy and the new core team have learned so much from Xavier, Alex, and the rest; they're really looking forward to continuing their legacy. Leroy has a vision for the future of Rainbow Six Siege that everyone here in the studio is very excited about. We said it before we'll say it again Rainbow Six Siege is here to stay."

Ubisoft is set to launch new Rainbow Six title Quarantine next year following a delay
