The Very Big Indie Pitch at PG Connects London 2026 showcased a great lineup of PC and console games, many of which felt like fantastic, innovative additons to gaming. As London is one of our bigger events, competition to even get into the pitch was massive - with so many games entering just for a chance to pitch!
For those of you that don't know, the Very Big Indie Pitch is a speed-dating style pitching competition that gives indie developers five minutes to present their games to a rotating panel of industry experts: Our judges. Pitchers recieve feedback and insight from experts who work in publishing, scouting, development, media and more - a wide range of the games industry is covered.
At Pocket Gamer Connects London, we had both a mobile version of the pitch and this dedicated PC and console version. In this article, we are taking a look at all of the PC and console projects that our judges got to see.
Meet, greet and play
This fast-paced event draws in developers from all sorts of stages of development, presented an mix of different genres and themes across the games. It's a fantastic networking opportunity and showcases some amazing work-in-progress titles.
These pitching sessions are a staple in all PG Connects conferences and associated gaming events worldwide, as they offer such a unique insight into regional development scenes and give indies the chance to meet such fantastic experts.
