15 indie games we saw at Pocket Gamer Connects London that you've got to check out

The Very Big Indie Pitch at PG Connects London 2026 showcased a great lineup of PC and console games, many of which felt like fantastic, innovative additons to gaming. As London is one of our bigger events, competition to even get into the pitch was massive - with so many games entering just for a chance to pitch!

For those of you that don't know, the Very Big Indie Pitch is a speed-dating style pitching competition that gives indie developers five minutes to present their games to a rotating panel of industry experts: Our judges. Pitchers recieve feedback and insight from experts who work in publishing, scouting, development, media and more - a wide range of the games industry is covered.

At Pocket Gamer Connects London, we had both a mobile version of the pitch and this dedicated PC and console version. In this article, we are taking a look at all of the PC and console projects that our judges got to see.

Meet, greet and play

This fast-paced event draws in developers from all sorts of stages of development, presented an mix of different genres and themes across the games. It's a fantastic networking opportunity and showcases some amazing work-in-progress titles.

These pitching sessions are a staple in all PG Connects conferences and associated gaming events worldwide, as they offer such a unique insight into regional development scenes and give indies the chance to meet such fantastic experts.

Below, we've compiled - in no particular order - the complete lineup of games presented during the PC and console pitch session. Each entry includes a brief preview to help you discover your next potential game of the year.

  • 1 Less Miserables by College Fun Games

    Less Miserables is a narrative-driven, fully voice acted, adventure game that aims at being a loving paradoy of the classic novel Les Miserables. In this game, you play as Claude brown, who has been imprsioned for 14 years for stealing a loaf of bread. Now that you are out, you need to find your daughter before she's caught in a violent revolution in the streets of Paris!


  • 2 No Stone Unturned by Wise Monkey Entertainment Ltd

    No Stone Unturned is a murder mystery comedy where you find yourself trying to solve the age old question; Why did the chicken cross the road?. Playing as detective Cox, a squirrel, you need to figure out who hit the chicken, who knocked you out, and exacrtly what is going on in this world.

    Little Woody is a hand-crafted, 2D point and click puzzle adventure game about a small wooden figure that has awakened in a forgotten facility. This world communicates through animation, sound, symbols, and character behavior, instead of through words, which provdes for an interesting story! 


  • 4 Ragdoll Physics Experiments by Giraffe Head Studios

    Ragdoll Physics Experiments is a sandbox physics game that is set inside a huge testing facility where you will find yourself uncovering secrets, solving challenges, and using traps to keep yourself safe. There are lots of gadgets and props to play around with, new tools to unlock, and an entire story to follow.


  • 5 Dance Dance Detective by Blue Tango Street

    Dance Dance Detective is a narrative, poitn and click adventure game that combines the job of a detective with professional dancing! You are going undercover as a dance teacher on a large cruise ship full of strange and wacky suspects. Your job is to both solve the crime and choreograph dances that can help you with your goal.


  • 6 Platform Unknown by Phenomena Studio

    Platform Unknown is a body-horror game where you are controling a steam train, that needs to make it's way through a forest full of bits of body parts. You will be using what you are destroying for fuel, scavening Victorian England along the way. 


  • 7 Next Soul, Please by eNVy softworks

    Next Soul, Please by eNVy softworks logo

    Inspired by Papers, Please, Next Soul, Please is a satirical, bureaucratic, decision-making game where you need to talk to Souls, check their documents, check the Holy texts, and decide where they are going to spend their afterlife. You'll need to follow the Rules or trust your own moral compass - but it all can come back to you.

    Turn Turn Turn Based! is a strategy rouge-like deck builder where you will be collecting cards that represent 'memories', which are then used to fgight against their opponents. You can move the playing field around with these cards and unlock bits of story while you are mastering the strategy behind the game.

    Olden Games is a turn-based, multi-board strategy game that's inspired by the Norse classic Hnefatafl, but has been reimagined for a modern audience. You can upgrade your pieces and use their special abilities to dominate the battlefield. While rooted in Viking lore, Olden Games embraces the wider legacy of tafl-like games from around the world.

    Heartwood is a cosy, two-player cooperative game where you and your friend are looking to help villagers in the Heartwood Village, through exploration and play. This game aims to be a heartfelt, relaxing adventure that nurtures real-life relationships.

    In Balloons of Paradise, you play as Perdu, a little lost penguin who is flying over the shores of Emeraldia. You can talk with the island's residents, complete tasks for them, and find your way back to your family when you are finished.


  • 12 Flowers of Tipmoore by Mudcat Games

    Flowers of Tipmoore is a creative, exploration game where you find yourself exploring unique biomes, collecting flowers, and making bouquets that can be gifted and sold to various people who live on the islands. You are able to arrange the flowers, finding what can be best for each villager.


  • 13 Conked Out by The Booth

    Cokced Out is a very British-feeling game! You play as wizards, that duel with conkers. You can whack and swing conkers, breaking them, while also learning about the wizards that are battling against you.


  • 14 The Inbetween by VCD Studios

    The Inbetween is a 2D, hand-drawn, emotional Metroidvania where bot your fate and the fate of the infected world resks on your choices and the skills that you use. Every decision you make mirrors your own values, inviting deep, self-discover through exploration, combat and consequence.


  • 15 Bloodseed: The Last Helsing by Gamez-Studio

    Bloodseed: The Last Helsing is a survival game that has you playing as the last line of Helsing, looking to get their land back from vampires. You will choose your way and follow your own destiny.
