UK-based developer Fateless has secured $8 million in funding for its upcoming RPG Godforge.
The company says that this money largely came from its community via the HH Gaming and means that it has raised $14 million in total to date from its audience.
Godforge is set to launch in Q1 2026. The RPG is currently in alpha phase and has been played by 4,421 users, according to a post from the studio on LinkedIn.
“With an already engaged and proven audience of over 2 million players across our YouTube channels, website, Discord and social media, we’re excited and confident that Godforge will help evolve the hero collector genre for the next generation of players," Fateless CEO and co-founder Simon Lockerby said.
"More importantly, the community has already expressed great belief in the game by helping us raise funds of $6 million during our initial startup phase and was a major contributor to our latest round." Godforge dev Fateless secures $8m investment
