Marvel Snap returns as Second Dinner looks for new publisher

Free-to-play card title Marvel Snap has returned after being taken offline over the weekend.

In a post on Twitter, developer Second Dinner wrote that it was looking for a new publishing partner after its game was seemingly collateral damage of ByteDance taking TikTok offline. Marvel Snap's current publisher, Nuverse, is a subsidiary of the Chinese giant.

"Marvel Snap is back online in the US," the firm wrote. "But to make sure this never happens again, we’re working to bring more services in-house and partner with a new publisher. This is the start of a new era for Marvel Snap.

"We know this probably leaves you with even more questions than answers. We appreciate your patience, but in the meantime, enjoy playing Marvel Snap.

"We’ll continue to update with more information as soon as possible."
