Season One content boosts Marvel Rivals to Steam No.2

Marvel Rivals leapt up two spots to second place on Steam last week.

This is thanks to the game's first round of content being rolled out, resulting in the title hitting a peak of 644,269 concurrent players following the Season One release. The super hero shooter comes in second place behind – what else – Counter-Strike 2. Valve's Steam Deck shot up two spots to fifth, coming in ahead of PUBG: Battlegrounds, which dropped two positions to fourth.

Path of Exile 2 also dipped two spots to fifth, while free-to-play MOBA smash hit Dota 2 held steady in sixth. Warframe returned to the Top Ten in seventh thanks to the release of some new content.

Pre-orders for Monster Hunter Wilds took eighth place, while pre-purchase for Sid Meier's Civilization 7 were the tenth highest grossing game on Steam last week.

Apex Legends returned to the Steam Top Ten in ninth thanks to a new round of events.
