Warner Bros Montreal cuts 99 staff

Warner Bros Montreal has laid off almost 100 staff.

Radio-Canada reportsas spotted by Game Developer – that 99 workers have been told that they are being laid off with eight weeks notice.

This was done on the same day that Rocksteady Studios revealed that it would be halting work on Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League in January.

The main victims of these job cuts are quality assurance subcontractors working at the company via Keywords Studios. These workers have been offered a chance to work at the firm again in 2026 or have assistance in helping find another role.

"I feel stressed and depressed. I feel like the company just ruined 99 lives," one worker told Radio-Canada.
