Develop:Brighton 2023 saw record attendance

The Develop:Brighton conference saw record attendance for its 2023 edition.

That's according to organisers Tandem Events, which say that the show saw a 43 per cent increase in visitors year-on-year. Meanwhile, conference attendance shot up 73 per cent compared to pre-pandemic levels.

“We are delighted to announce that 4,970 delegates attended the Develop:Brighton conference this year, a new record from when we started the conference," Tandem MD Andy Lane said.

"It is wonderful to see the growth of this community and each year we strive to grow the value this conference can provide the game development community. We are immensely proud and can’t wait to see what 2024 holds.”

He continued: “What was especially rewarding was the increase in exhibitors and in the number of meetings booked this yea. We are excited each year to provide the setting for these conversations, and this year’s number really shows the thriving activity of the industry in the UK and beyond.”

Tandem has also said that Develop will be returning to the DoubleTree by Hilton Metropole between July 9th and 11th.
